All of those scary machines and people coming in and out and touching you and talking to you.. arrgh! Poor darling!

I hope she is doing much much better now. That is a lot on your plate right now- worrying about Kailey breathing, diabetes, wanting to celebrate Joel's birthday, having Kailey miss out on the parade, the mess with the drywall, Eli having to be sent away... no wonder you are stressed!

About the good, the bad and the ugly: sometimes we need to talk about the bad so we can be grateful for the good. Don't worry about being a Debbie Downer- you are happy most of the time and it helps to vent and get things aired out with your friends. That's what friends are for to be there for the good AND the bad.

Hope you're all doing better!Lexihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13878522661900128012noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4945152546200740031.post-80502849708806422972009-11-03T08:52:50.085-06:002009-11-03T08:52:50.085-06:00The part about sweet little Eli hugging you got me...The part about sweet little Eli hugging you got me. Sometimes you don't expect them to pick up on as much as they do but they really do pay close attention. You are an amazing person Holly and I'm glad Kailey is feeling better! Hope the diabetes diet is going well!Jill Britthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12825849350704515905noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4945152546200740031.post-28677378871813916602009-11-02T21:33:29.180-06:002009-11-02T21:33:29.180-06:00I feel like a Debbie Downer sometimes, but sometim...I feel like a Debbie Downer sometimes, but sometimes life is...well, DOWN. If you didn't respond to the down times, you wouldn't be human. Feeling the bad and the good is part of life and I wouldn't want you to edit that out. I care about the "whole you" not just the good/happy parts. That's what makes us good friends. I love you and am sorry that you went through all that torture! I had a very similar situation with Sadie last December and could relate to every bit of your post! Love you!The Awesome Rawsonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11162460814812198592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4945152546200740031.post-61211589256943942132009-11-02T14:54:33.372-06:002009-11-02T14:54:33.372-06:00Don't view yourself as a Debbie Downer...think...Don't view yourself as a Debbie Downer...think of yourself as normal. Thanks for posting a real, unedited post. I, too, am prideful and don't want to post things that make me seem like a downer, or failure, or whiny, or inadequate....or less than a super mom. You are a strong, wonderful, beautiful momma. It must have been very hard to watch Kailey scream and then have to possibly watch Eli cry by giving him up for the day. I'm glad you decided to keep him with you. I'm glad everything is ok now. Many hugs to you! :o)Clarehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11815848910806197181noreply@blogger.com
