Chuck e Cheese?

Yesterday, Joel went to a gun show with a couple of friends. They put a stamp on his hand when he paid admission, it was a big stamp that said gun. So today in Sacrament meeting, Kailey was sitting in Joel's lap and she noticed the remnant of the gun stamp on his hand, and she looked up at him with a look of disgust and devastation and said, "Chuck e cheese?"

For those of you who might not have been to chuck e cheese lately, they stamp kids and parents with the same stamp for security. I was amazed that Kailey remembered that they stamp your hand, especially since we haven't been in about 4 months.

Since she was so devastated that Joel had supposedly gone to Chuck e cheese without her, he told her that we would go tomorrow evening.

some of my favorite pictures from my phone

I've got a few drafts started that I need to go back and complete, but for now I'm just gonna share a few of my favorite pictures from my phone.
A few days before we went to Orlando, Jamie and I traveled up to Winnsboro to visit Aunt Lisa and get me and Kailey a hair cut. This was Kailey's first haircut and she did great. We just had about an inch trimmed off of the bottom.
Clare and her baby Jezebel came and visited in May. I was so excited to meet Jezebel for the first time. She is such a cute sweet baby! Clare, you're cute and sweet too : )

One day Eli kept trying to flip out of his bouncy seat and his car seat. Earlier that day he had tried to flip out of his bouncy seat twice (I got that with the big camera). Then I turned my back for a second to open the car door and he tried to escape from his car seat. Needless to say, I strap him in to everything now.Eli loves to suck on two fingers.

Dathan, Mimi, and Kailey

Eli also loves to stick out his tongue.

This one speaks for itself.
We are dog sitting for Joel's parents this week. Kailey and Izzy were bonding earlier today on the couch. It has been kind of fun having a couple of extra dogs around.

The other Holly Bonnette

One day I recieved an email that had a reservation for a rental car, and I had not reserved a car...I immediately assumed the worse, identity theft, stolen credit card... I decided to be rational and try to get to the bottom of it. So I started by calling the rental car company and cancelling the the reservation. I tried to get some info out of the car rental people but wasn't very sucessful. Then the idea came to Joel that there might be another Holly Bonnette. So he googled my name and came up with a myspace for another Holly Bonnette in Texas, who was about my age and married to a guy named Anthony Bonnette. Luckily her profile was public so we sent her message asking if she had recently reserved a rental car. We put my email address and our phone number. Later that day we got a call from Holly. I apologized to her about the cancellation and we talked for a while about ourselves and our lives. It was very interesting. It turns out that her email address is very similar to mine so the rental car company had just entered it wrong. Since then I have gotten emails from her coworkers and have forwarded them on. We have communicated through email a few times since then.

Yikes!

It has been a month and 10 days since I last blogged! I don't know what came over me. I love my blog and I don't why I neglected it for so long :( I'm back and I'm going to try not to do that again.

At the beginning of May Joel took us on a suprise 5 year anniversary trip. He warned me in advance that we were going to be taking a trip, but he wasn't going to tell me when or where we were going. He did assure me that he would give me 24 hour notice to pack, but he wouldn't tell me where we were going until we got to the airport. It was fun and exciting going on a suprise trip! We went to Orlando with Jared and Keri (Joel's older brother and his wife, who was 8 months pregnant and was a real trooper the whole time). I'm not going to give a travel log, I'll just post a few pictures.

Is eeyore eating my child ?!? Seriously eeyore gave a good long hug and Kailey was excited. She also got to hug Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, and Goofy

The pinnacle of the trip for Kailey! We waited in a long line in the heat, she was hot and sleepy, but did not meltdown, because she knew that Mickey was at the end of the line.

Okay, when I was 8 months pregnant I would have been doing good to drag myslef around Animal Kingdom. Keri did great the whole time, I was truley amazed, and she and Jared were such a help with Kailey and Eli. I felt like I was constantly saying "Thanks Keri," or "Thanks Jared." By the way, Jared and Keri had their baby last week! Welcome baby Ashlyn!!

We also went to Sea World, Coco Beach, and Arabian Knights (kind of like Mideval Times, dinner and a show kind of thing, this one was a cool show with lots of horses). It will be fun to go back in a few years when Kailey and Eli are older and can enjoy more stuff. It was such a fun trip and good to get a way for a long weekend. Thanks Joel!!!
