New Car!

Kailey got a new car yesterday, and I can't tell you how excited this girl was. When we got it home from the store, she couldn't even wait for us to put it together. She started playing with the parts as we pulled them out of the box.

We had a heck of a time putting this thing together, and not because the toy was difficult to assemble, but because there was an anxious girl that wanted to play with it. We learned a valuable lesson: toys that require assembly, should be assembled after 8:30 p.m. (Kailey's bedtime).

    I might or might not have let a bad word or two slip out when we put Ayden's Cozy Coupe together. He was sleeping, but it was still a challenge.

    Oh, yes, the joy of a "some assembly required" toy! we try to do the same thing you suggested, build it after bedtime, but sometimes it is just too hard to wait and we have mass insanity ensue after that.
    hope she still loves the car. brennan has had his since he was a small tot, and he STILL loves it (he is now 4).
